| Descripción |
ABSTRACT: A new concept, the bulk sorptivity, which characterizes the solid particles movement is introduced in order to understand the movement of water in deformable soils. It is used to evaluate the field-saturated hydraulic conductivity of swelling materials from early-time single-ring infiltration experiments. Results show that neglecting the deformation induces an underestimation of the hydraulic conductivity of the soil. 1. |
