The Environmental Protection Agency is seeking applicants for the position of Information Technology Specialist in the Office of Water's Monitoring Branch. Duties include: lead user requirements gathering and analysis, design, development, testing, operations and maintenance of the STORET (STOrage and RETrieval) database, the Assessment Database (ABD), and WATERS (Watershed Assessment Tracking and Environmental ResultS) databases; consult on the development of Agency and national data standards; represent the Office of Water's interests and requirements; evaluate new information technology for effectiveness, ease of use, resource and support requirements; and support the watershed approach for protecting the nation's water resources.
