The University of Wisconsin Space Science and Engineering Center (SSEC) is seeking applicants for the position of Programmer (official title- Instrument Tech). Duties include: work as a member of a team developing, maintaining and supporting software in an environment used for research, operations and educational projects; perform software needs assessment; assist in the design, programming, troubleshooting and implementation of specific environments for UNIX, MS Windows, Java and OS-X workstations; and give presentations at meetings and training sessions for other staff, researchers and operational clients.
