Descripción This study aims to understand the individuals' stress and depression today by making use of the therapist routine report about mentally and/or emotionally disturbed patients. It is in fact an authentic report from the author not only as a researcher, but also as a psychotherapist and supervisor. This research is based on routine life disturbing experiences and makes use of the Individual Centered Approach theory, that is, the Patient Centered Therapy.This research makes a critical reading of the Patient Centered Therapy analysing both the concept of science and the conceptual way followed by Carl Rogers. Then, from this analysis on, the critical reading points at the Up-to-Date Tendency and Anguish concepts insufficiency to welcome and give way to the individuals' stress and depression today, revealing then the need for another approach which can explain the fundamental and original condition of man.Finally, this study presents Heidegger's anguish concept as a possible contribution to spring and re-direct the therapist's professional routine.Getting to the end of this study, the author shows the changing moment she finds herself in, deciding thus for a therapist versus patient session approach - having in mind the
