This work aims to analyze the subjective dimension in the public politics, through the pointof view of social historical psychology, in arder to present references to the professionalpractice in this field.The theoretical and methodological approach of social historical psychology allows us torecognize the subject and the subjectivity as historical constructions, revealing thenaturalizing character of the major part of psychology production, which treats theindividual as a universal entity, discharging the historicity of subjectivity. Opposite to thisnaturalizing point of view, the social historical psychology asserts the individual as ahistorical subject.The thesis focuses a psychologist professional practice field that although not traditional,represents a social urgency by one side and a possibility of Psychology development itselfby the other side. The field of public politics was hereby considered within thedevelopment of capitalism; but once admitted as a social field, it was considered in itssubjective dimension. It was here discussed that the subjective dimension presented in thesocial phenomena of the very field of public politics must be considered by theprofessionals who are responsible for working out these policies and who act according tothem; moreover, the PsychologylIaswhat to say abolirit.It was algo discussed that public politics must intend to emanciparethe individuaisaffectedby them; therefore, one must be aware of different conceptions of subject and subjectivitypresent in their design, evaluatingthe implicationsof each one of them.The assumption of a historical subject in the public politics matter means to proposeformula to guarantee that politics are democratic; that they recognize basic social rights;that they promete citizenship; that they propose and count on the addressee participation;that they create conditions for the sharing of diverge contacts, relationships andexperiences; and that they suppose a subject abre of acting in buildingnew life alternatives,always emancipating of mankind. Directed this way, the individual fulftllment as ahistorical subject admits bis tie to the community and bis commitment to the socialtransformation
