The main purpose of this work is to investigate and analyze, based on the behavioral aspect of the entrepreneurship, the main features of the engineer?s profile considered most valuable by the productive system of Bahia. The research aims to identify the entrepreneur profile of the engineer towards to the labour market of Camaçari?s Industrial Pole and related, involving not only engineers as employers of big and medium organizations (intrapreneur) but as employers at their own small companies (entrepreneur). It is shown in this research, that the behavioral aspect of entrepreneurship is an useful tool to investigate the profile of the engineers required now days. The analytical framework, supported by the theoretical review and exploratory research, allowed through a statistical treatment, the suitable investigation of these characteristics. As shown in the charts, tables and comparative analyses as well as in the resulting interpretation of the data obtained from the questionary, it could be performed not only the identification of the entrepreneurs characteristic of the engineers but the ranking of importance among them as perceived by the answering sample as well. It can be concluded that the most important characteristics, the ones that dealt with entrepreneuship, were those related with the necessities, abilities and values of the human being, rather than those related with the technical knowledge. This evidence not only answers the main question of the dissertation, but also validates its assumptions.
