Descripción In planning of the water structures, it is need some information about flow values. The identification of suitable generation models for future streamflows is an important precondition for successful planning and management of water resources, operation of flood control reservoirs, determination of flow potential in stream, forecasting of electric generation in hydroelectric power plants in drought periods, distribution of domestic and irrigation water and navigation in rivers. Flow prediction methods are countable as rainfall-runoff models or flood routing models for short periods; indis variable models, water budget models, rainfall-runoff models and time series models, respectively. In time series models, future streamflows are estimated from model equation by using past flow records and residuals are assumed zero. In study, Fuzzy Logic Approaches which give attention in recent years in hydrology is used for flow prediction of Dim Stream in Middle Mediterranean Region, alternatively. Monthly flow data are used, covering the time span of 36 years (432 months), i. e. the observation period between 1961 and 1996 for 9-13 station. In study of time series, it was observed that Dim Stream was fitting second degree Markov Model. Hence, in this study, flow values of last two years are selected for inputs. For periodicity, cos(2πi/12), sin(2πi/12) values are used for inputs. It is seen that Fuzzy Logic Approaches give suitable results with historical flow values.
