Descripción: This article brings some important aspects about political
culture in Brazil, taking into consideration the socio-historical
matrix of Brazilian society, thinking about elements of culture
and political culture. We present a research agenda that focuses
on dialogues between Political Science and Anthropology, using
a cultural perspective to understand the Brazilian reality.
Historical and cultural aspects that contribute to the interpretations
of this political culture, often characterized as non-participatory
are brought into analysis, which reflects, in general, the apathy
and alienation of the political process in Brazil.
