The Digital Library for Earth System Education (DLESE) is a grassroots, community-based effort involving teachers, students, and scientists working together to create a library of educational resources and services to support Earth system science education. DLESE supports Earth system science education by providing access to high-quality collections of educational resources; access to Earth data sets and imagery; support services to help educators and learners effectively create, use, and share educational resources; and communication networks to facilitate interactions and collaborations across all dimensions of Earth system education.

The Case of the Wacky Water Cycle
This educator's guide accompanies a NASA "SCI Files" activity that focuses on student understanding of the water cycle and water conservation. Topics include weather and precipitation, groundwater hydrology, climate change, use and storage of fresh water, desalination, and water conservation. Environmental Distance Learning (EDL) provides classroom-based Internet distance learning while taking into account the classroom and curriculum requirements set by the state of Florida. EDL provides teachers with the plans and know-how to fulfill these requirements while providing students with interactive learning opportunities for basic scientific skill sets. It provides real-time environmental data in an interactive learning context and the tools and directions to manage the data. EXPLORES! Curriculum Project
The EXPLORES! Curriculum Project, founded at FLorida State University, is intended to increase use of weather satellite receiving technology and weather satellite imagery in K-14 schools. It features over 20 lesson plans relating to weather satellite imagery.
