El presente artículo nace después de un viaje a Inglaterra, viaje en el que tuve la oportunidad
entrar en las aulas de una escuela de educación primaria en Southampton, observar la actuación
de alumnos y profesores y cambiar impresiones con estos líltimos sobre la enseñanza en general

In the context of a language learning, the integration of reading into the language programme
is essential, obviously interrelated with the other skills of listening, speaking and writing. But
it is often difficult to convince students of English as a foreign language that texts in English can

Esta comunicación intenta valorar el papel que el examen oral puede desempeñar dentro de la interacción enseñanza/aprendizaje. A modo de definición-presentación enumeramos contrastivamente con otras pruebas las condiciones especiales de estos exámenes que afectan a profesores y alumnos, y que los hacen cualitativamente diferentes.
