    The Education and Training Inspectorate (the Inspectorate) strives to promote openness and transparency in all the work that it undertakes. This document builds on other documents already published, such as the ‘Charter for Inspection’ and the Information leaflets for teachers, parents and governors, to ensure that all those who are inspected are aware of the processes, protocols and indicators adopted by the Inspectorate, and that no organisation is uncertain about what an inspection involves.
