The School Support Programme: Intensive Support for Schools - DE
The new School Support Programme is planned to begin in September 1998. As with RSSI, there will be a concentrated effort on helping and supporting identified schools to address their weaknesses.

Guidance to Education and Library Boards on the Operation of Development and Dissemination of Good Practice and Innovation in Schools - DE
The aim of the Good Practice Initiative is to provide an opportunity for the
development, recognition and dissemination of good practice in schools. Participating
schools will have already demonstrated good practice in curricular or management
innovations and the additional funding they have received through this scheme will allow
for its further development and dissemination to other schools in consultation with the
Employing Authorities and the relevant Curriculum and Advisory Support Services (CASS).
