These data are published data of age-specific mortality rates, age-specific lengths or weights, length and age at maturity, fecundity-length relationships, and egg size for 84 populations from 49 species of primarily commercial teleost fishes. The populations included are those for which all the life history traits under study have been estimated over a period shorter than 10 years. Data were collected from the regional program LOUPE (Observation of the habitat and associated communities in the context of the fisheries of the Capbreton Canyon). It consisted in the observations of two métiers practiced around the canyon. The observations were carried out between July 2011 and April 2013 on coastal boats. The pilot scale pursuit of ovogenesis in sea bass (Dicentrarchus .labrax L.) has been realized under photoperiod control in different seasons with the consequent variations in temperature. 5 lots of spawners have been kept in 12 m3 tanks: 3 in spring ascent temperature conditions with similar results; 1 in the last phase of descent temperature in autumn, and 1 with natural photoperiod and temperature conditions.
In all cases the spawn was induced with LHRHa obtaining identical quantity and quality results.

Zooplankton abundance, biomass and composition were evaluated in various temporal scales in a seasonal coastal upwelling system at Margarita Island, Venezuela. Scales of temporal variation include weeks, months and seasons (relaxation, upwelling and transition). Seasons were delimitated by upwelling index and sea temperature. The sampling period comprise Sept/2002 - July/2003. Zooplankton samplings were made by horizontal trawls (1-10m depth), using 200,mu m nets, 2-6km from the coastal margin. Total abundance show important variation at week scales, with different patterns between locations, while seasonal differences of abundance are marginal. La mayoría de los trabajos citados se refieren principalmente al cultivo de peces y pocos acerca del camarón. Así que este trabajo está enfocado al camarón y las pocas pruebas publicadas. Varios de los inmunoestimulantes y su manera de actuar sobre el sistema inmune en camarones se describen brevemente, así como los métodos usados para administrar las sustancias inmunoestimulatorias para camarón.
