The objective of this study is to evaluate the use of standardization and classification rules, proposed by the CEAGESP, by peach producers and wholesalers and to identify the effects of this procedure on the supply and commercialization of the fruit. The study verifies, between march 2005 and march 2006, if there is any difference between the stock yields of a sample of companies listed in Bovespa that adopt the principles of Corporate Governance, in different levels, in relation to the companies of the traditional market.
