Die diskursive Konstruktion von Stabilität und Wandel am Beispiel des Paradox von Gleichheit und Differenz - Julia C. Nentwich
Anhand einer Diskursanalyse (Potter & Wetherell, 1987) von 21 qualitativen Interviews mit Mitarbeitenden eines Schweizer Forschungsunternehmens (Nentwich, 2004) analysiere ich, wie die in einem ideologischen Dilemma (Billig et al., 1988) aufeinander bezogenen ?Sprachspiele? (Wittgenstein, 1997) der Gleichheit und Differenz diskursiv im Interview konstruiert werden und wie dabei sowohl die Stabilität einer bestimmten Wirklichkeitskonstruktion, als auch Möglichkeiten zur Veränderung entstehen. Evolution of Process Portals to Multi-Channel Architectures A Service-Oriented Approach at ETA SA - Jan W. Schemm; Christine Legner; Rudolf Zurmuehlen
This paper illustrates a typical pathway towards increasing electronic interaction with external business partners. Based on the case study of ETA SA, a Swiss manufacturer of watch movements and components, it explores current issues in portal-based B2B integration. In order to allow for tighter process integration with distinct customers, ETA conceives a multi-channel architecture which provides electronic services to customers using either direct or portal-based electronic channels. Since a multi-channel approach typically is associated with major integration challenges, the paper outlines and discusses the vision of service-oriented architecture for interorganizational integration.

Managing Mobile Work - Insights from European Practice - Torsten Brodt; Robert Verburg
This article features a number of enablers and barriers for the successful introduction of mobile work initiatives. ICT enabled mobile work environments are an emerging phenomenon in Europe. On basis of current theory and the empirical analysis of five selected case studies from a large European research project both facilitating factors and possible obstructions are illustrated and discussed.
