    Se exponen las tareas desarrolladas por la Biblioteca Universitaria de Córdoba para la evaluación de sus servicios en el marco de la evaluación transversal de las Bibliotecas Universitarias andaluzas, auspiciada por la UCUA en el seno del PACU (2002-2006). Se especifica la trascendencia de los trabajos acometidos para el incremento de la calidad de los servicios bibliotecarios por suponer el compromiso de la Biblioteca en un proceso de mejora continua.

    In this paper we are going to present a system which lets any student at Cordoba University knows what the final qualifications he has obtained in the different subjects he is registered are. The sytem lets him consult the qualifications using Internet and mobile telephony. Teachers who are reagistered in the system can upload tha qualifications without addtional software, they only need the certificate file generated by the UcoActas application.   4. Sistema digital de catalogación y consulta de documentos académicos: Tesis, Tesinas, Proyectos de Fin de Carrera

    A digital system has been developed on order to catalogue and consult academic documents: Theses, First Degree Dissertations and Technical Degree Final Projects. The system uses a listing of bibliographical subjects which makes easy the catalogue and search of theses documents. The system guarantees the copyright because the document can be consulted, but they can not be printed or copied on external devices. In addition, a cataloguing and search protocol is proposed in order to the system can be correctly used. This system is available to be integrated in the Web information system of the Library of Córdoba University.

  5. Peculiaridades de la investigación científca en áreas experimentales y no experimentales. Repercusiones en los modelos de evaluación

    The relative importance of inputs and outputs from the point of view of the researchers is shown. Differences detected between areas are also described. A quality assessment of journals in seven scientific fields (Law, Economics, Art & History, Social Sciences, Philology, Philosophy, Educational Sciences and Psychology) is described. The system developed has been used in several institutional assessment of R&D activities.

  8. Análisis y evaluación de la acción tutorial en Enfermería: confirmación empírica de una sospecha

    The purpose of this work is contributing empirical evidence about the tutorial action in the Nursing School of The Cordoba University. Two samples (27 Professors and 103 students) performed both booklets collecting information on outstanding aspects within the tutorial field. The results confirm the preliminary hypothesis: the tutorial activities in the Nursing School are minimal. This opinion is equally unanimous both between Professors and students, although students' valuation probed to be more critical and negative. These and others findings are discussed and some proposal to improve evaluation strategies and practical activities within the tutorial field are formulated.

  16. Reflexiones en torno a la relación profesor-alumno en la tutoría online

    The rise to the new communication technologies applied to education is causing an increase in the use of the online tutorial within university teaching. The implementation of the European credits system is also going to encourage the development of these virtual tutorials. This article reflects how the use of this tool affects teacher-pupil relations and shows the pros and the cons of its utilization. It is recommended to make use of the online tutorial as a complement to face-to-face relationship and to put always technology at the service of teaching and not the other way round.

    The work that here is presented supposes the second phase of a study initiate in the academic course 2002/2003 whose basic objective is the generation of an evaluation instrument of centers from the perspective of the different members of the university.
