1. Evaluation of phosphorus starvation inducible bypasses to increase the effieciency of phosphorus utilization in rice - Shinano, Takuro; Nanamori, M.; Dohi, M.; Wasaki, J.; Osaki, M.; ??, ??
Phosphoenolpyruvate carboxylase, triose phosphate translocator, phosphoenolpyruvate/inorganic phosphate translocator (PPT), pyruvate kinase, NAD dependent glyceraldehydes-3-phosphate dehydrogenase, NADP dependent glyceraldehydes-3-phosphate dehydrogenase, were selected because of their important role in the phosphorus utilization in the cell and 2 consisting proposed bypass pathway to save phosphate.

2. Low Phosphorus Tolerance Mechanisms: Phosphorus Recycling and Photosynthate Partitioning in the Tropical Forage Grass, Brachiaria Hybrid cultivar Mulato Compared with Rice - Nanamori, Masahiko; Shinano, Takuro; Wasaki, Jun; Yamamura, Takuya; Rao, Idupulapati M.; Osaki, Mitsuru; ??, ??
The definitive publisher-authenticated version is available online.

3. Plant growth promotion abilities and microscale bacterial dynamics in the rhizosphere of Lupin analysed by phytate utilization ability - Unno, Yusuke; Okubo, Kenzo; Wasaki, Jun; Shinano, Takuro; Osaki, Mitsuru; ??, ??
In the rhizosphere, phosphorus (P) levels are low due to P uptake into the roots.

4. Developmental regulation of photosynthate distribution in leaves of rice - SHINANO, TAKURO; NAKAJIMA, KANTO; WASAKI, JUN; MORI, HARUHIDE; ZHENG, TEI; OSAKI, MITSURU; ??, ??
mRNA expression patterns of genes for metabolic key enzymes sucrose phosphate synthase (SPS), phosphoenolpyruvate carboxylase (PEPC), pyruvate kinase, ribulose 1,5-bisphosphate carboxylase/oxygenase, glutamine synthetase 1, and glutamine synthetase 2 were investigated in leaves of rice plants grown at two nitrogen (N) supplies (N0.5, N3.0).

5. Difference in Carbon Distribution of Initial Photoassimilates between Soybean and Rice as Revealed by 20 s Pulse-300 s Chase Experiments - Okazaki, Keiki; Shinano, Takuro; Osaki, Mitsuru
The distribution of 14C to starch at the end of the chase period was largest in soybean but very small in rice.

6. Developmental changes of plant affecting primary photosynthate distribution in rice leaves - Shinano, T.; Ando, K.; Okazaki, K.; Osaki, M.
The relative primary photosynthate distribution to the sugar phosphate fraction was significantly larger in the 5th leaf than in the 6th one.
