[EN] The environmental quality in urban areas is an increasingly relevant aspect that requires
a follow-up of its evolution. The typological characterization of urban areas as a function of the
number, area and spatial distribution of green areas presents an interest in their potential
relation with the environmental quality of cities.
This project will use the new Sentinel 2 images from the Copernicus program to generate
classifications of land use in different European cities. From these classifications will be
calculated measures of fragmentation and spatial distribution of green areas, which will be
