  5. Trends among young fishers and their characteristics during a depression -Statistical analysis based on fisheries census-

    MIYAZAWA, Haruhiko; OOGUSHI, Shingo
Trend analysis of fishers by age cohort clarifies that the number of young fishers started to show an in- creasing trend in the late 1990s and early 2000s. The background of the increasing trend is the deteriorating employment environment during a depression. The increase of young fishers is more conspicuous in the coastal fishery than in the offshore and ocean fishery, and employed young fishers increased more than inde- pendent young fishers. This means that an increasing number of companies employed young fishers in the coastal fishery. Although starting as an employed fisher is the first step for youths to get involved...

    ガンバット, ウスフバヤル; 坂爪, 浩史
In this paper, we analyzed the development of feed production and the distribution system using Company A, the largest feed production company in Mongolia, as a case study, and clarified the following points. First, an increase in the livestock population due to intensive animal husbandry has led to the enlargement of the demand for animal feed in recent years. Next, although Company A has been trying to produce feed that is appropriate for certain breeds and growth stages, as it was originally founded as a flour miller, it has not been able to produce feed that is appropriate for all...

    石橋, 佳法
In this paper, we divide the dog food market into the pioneering, growth, and maturity stages, consider the process of subdividing the market structure in each division, and clarify the factors by which this is regulated. In the pioneering stage, the first step is gaining consumer acknowledgment for the dog food as a product, and each manufacturer’s product was sold, mostly by pet shops and rice shops, based on its function as a complete and nourishing meal. During the growth stage, price competition by volume sellers intensified, and each manufacturer sold a valueadded“premium”dog food product. In line with the expansion of the sales channels in the maturity stage,...

    朴, 紅; 坂下, 明彦; 姚, 富坤
Against the backdrop of rural industrialization, Kaixiangong village, under the small town construction policy advocated by Fei Xiaotong, created many job opportunities through village-level enterprises, and achieved a high employment absorption capacity. In this study, we analyzed the development of private enterprises and employment status based on surveys of several private enterprises. One point of focus is migrant workers. 17. 鶏卵のフードシステムと系統農協の機能変化

    大森, 隆; 坂下, 明彦
Annual per capita egg consumption showed continual growth following WWII. However, consumption failed to grow after 1973, gradually took a downturn, and demand for eggs fell. The amount of eggs produced nationwide grew every year until 1970, and in 1992, annual production exceeded 2.5 million tonnes. Following this, lower levels of consumption and overproduction led to a surplus. This excess in production has continued since 1993. Egg production in Hokkaido started as a “sideline” business by subsistence farmers, with several hundreds of thousands of breeders at its height. The Hokkaido poultry industry has recently changed. Currently, 70 percent of egg...
