In this note we give a characterization of complete atomic Boolean algebras by means of complete atomic lattices. We find that unicity of the representation of the maximum as union of atoms and Lambda-infinite distributivity law are necessary and sufficient conditions for the lattice to be a complete atomic Boolean algebra.

It is shown, in a general frame and playing with idempotency, that in order to have on a given lattice a Multiple Valued Logic preserving the lattice structure, the only t-norms and t-conorms allowing to modelize the truth values of a v b, a ^ b and a --> b are Min and Max, respectively, apart from ordinal sums.

Let R be an associative ring with 1 and R-tors the somplete Brouwerian lattice of all hereditary torsion theories on the category of left R-modules. A well known result asserts that R is a left semiartinian ring iff R-tors is a complete atomic Boolean lattice. In this note we prove that if L is a complete atomic Boolean lattice then there exists a left semiartinian ring R such that L is lattice-isomorphic to R-tors.

10. Representation of algebraic distributives lattices with compact elements as ideal lattices of regular rings - Wehrung, F.
We prove the following result: Theorem. Every algebraic distributive lattice $D$ with at most $\aleph _1$ compact elements is isomorphic to the ideal lattice of a von Neumann regular ring $R$. (By earlier results of the author, the $\aleph _1$ bound is optimal.) Therefore, $D$ is also isomorphic to the congruence lattice of a sectionally complemented modular lattice $L$, namely, the principal right ideal lattice of $R$. Furthermore, if the largest element of $D$ is compact, then one can assume that $R$ is unital, respectively, that $L$ has a largest element. This extends several known results of G. M. Bergman, A. Esto conduce a obtener operadores discretos análogos al gradiente, divergencia y laplaciano, y se demuestra que estos operadores equivalen formalmente a esquemas en diferencias. Posteriormente se realiza un análisis de la consistencia para estudiar el error de aproximación en la discretización y finalmente se obtienen esquemas...

In this paper we present and develop, only elementarily, an axiomatic frame for some special fuzzy relations, the so called relational probabilities, which happen to be families of functions which in some cases are quantic probabilities [1] on sublattices of a given lattice; in this way we obtain calculations similar to the ordinary ones but based on a weaker lattice background. This framework is inspired on the presentation of conditional probability on Boolean algebras made in [5] and in [4] and improves further steps given in [6].
