The objective is to identify characteristics that can establish links between constructions which, at first, show appear as disparate, depending on the various meanings that the same radical can assume (agro- can mean campo in agrologia, produtos agrícolas in agroexportação and ciências agrárias in agroveterinária). However, these compounds exhibit a degree of relational similarity that influence the categorization of these constructions. The examined data have been selected by Higino da Silva (2016). Baioni, Jean Carlos; Squassoni, Gustavo Henrique; Cultri, Gabriela Rodrigues de Souza; Della Torre da Silva, Janaina; Dias, Luciana Thie Seki
The rational use of water resources is fundamentally important for sustainability. One of the strategies adopted is a reuse of fish farming effluents for agricultural crops irrigation, promoting reduction of costs with chemical fertilizers and increase productive efficiency. The objective of this study was to evaluate the effect of fish effluent application on the development of the chive-coriander consortium, with different levels of chemical fertilization. A randomized block design with four replications was used in a 3x2 factorial scheme. The treatments were constituted by the combination of chemical fertilization levels (0, 50 and 100% NPK fertilizer recommended) and water types...

  13. Metano ruminal e o uso de taninos condensados como estratégia de mitigação

Correia da Silva Carrega, Maria Fernanda; Dantas, Ariane
Concerns about the environment, with emphasis on global warming, are growing. In this context, human activities such as burning fossil fuels, generation of urban waste, coupled with agricultural and animal production, are considered the main activities responsible for the emission of gases that cause the increase of the greenhouse effect in the atmosphere, such as dioxide carbon (CO2), methane (CH4) and nitrous oxide (N2O). Brazil, for having the largest commercial cattle herd in the world and for using primarily a tropical forage based diet to feed these animals, has been identified as an considerable producer of CH4. This has caused...

  14. Metáforas sobre el rol docente en el sistema universitario de las ciencias agrarias de la Argentina

Vugman, Laura Inés; Durand, Patricia Beatriz; Plencovich, María Cristina
This paper presents partial results from a research project on the academics in the Agrarian University System in Argentina. The results are based on a questionnaire that was responded by 793 professors. We identified metaphorical concepts that teachers chose from a selection of options to define the role of university teachers in general, and secondly, open metaphorical expressions the teachers coined to refer to their own roles. As a conclusion, we identified an idealized representation that coincides with the most usual metaphors in education. On the other hand, these idealized representations we identify as an “ethos”, contrast with other representations that result from the formulation of their own...
