This thesis examines the question of what kind of guidance curriculum is suitable for primary schools in Hong Kong. A set of instructional materials was developed and assessed in connection with a 20th Century music education curriculum project designed for use by Hong Kong music teachers. Initially the concept of "20th Century music"is discussed, then the reults of a survey are presented. In the survey and interview, teachers (14 primary + 12 secondary = 26) appreciated the value of the materials which could, however, be simplified and presented in more interesting ways. Purpose – To investigate the extent of loyalty, and the reasons underlying banking behaviour by business customers from the small to medium enterprise (SME) sector in Hong Kong, and to thereby contribute to a better understanding of the drivers of customer loyalty. In Hong Kong, the Environmental Protection Department (EPD) started an acid rain monitoring program since the middle of 1980s. The present study was a desktop review exercise on the local available data in accessing the current situation of acid rain and its potential trend for the future. Acid rain data (wet and dry deposition) collected by the EPD stations and other sources were systematically reviewed and statistically analysed. The potential impacts by acid rain per se on the local ecosystems were assessed both in physical and monetary terms as far as possible. Major conclusions drawn the studies are listed below.
